These terms apply to the iPhone app Photocean (the “App”). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to them.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on your Apple devices. The App is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
2. Free and paid features
Browsing, organising, backup, search and places are always free.
The following require a subscription or a one-time purchase:
- Memories and trips
- Gallery
- Instant photo sharing
- All photography insight
- Full iCloud backup
3. Subscriptions and payment
- Available plans: monthly, yearly, or a one-time purchase. Prices are displayed by the App Store for your region.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- To cancel: iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the paid period.
- The one-time purchase does not renew.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Third-party services
The App can connect to third-party photo services you run yourself, such as Immich or MT Photos.
- Server addresses and credentials are entered by you and stored on your device.
- The App connects to that server directly from your device. Our servers are not involved.
- The availability, data and terms of those services are the responsibility of their providers.
5. Privacy
The App has no servers of its own and collects no data. Your photos travel only between your iPhone and your server. See the Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is”. Please keep your own backups. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss caused by device failure, misuse, third-party service issues, or events beyond our control.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The revision date below will change, and continued use means you accept the update.
